ABC Cares Foundation is the charitable affiliate of Associated Builders and Contractors - Florida East Coast Chapter. We are a registered 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting construction professionals and their families during challenging times through financial assistance, mental health services, and construction disaster relief efforts.

Our foundation provides comprehensive support through three main pillars: financial assistance for cases of need involving sickness, injury, or loss of life; access to mental health services, addiction treatment, and suicide prevention resources; and nationwide construction disaster relief coordination and management.

ABC Cares Foundation operates with exceptional efficiency, with approximately 97 cents of every dollar donated supporting our mission to assist construction professionals and their families during challenging times.

You can make donations through our secure online donation portal. We accept donations with a write-in amount or specific “Donor Level” contributions, which have certain benefits based on the amount donated. Your contributions directly support our ongoing mission of helping construction families in need.

We manage various fundraising initiatives, including individual family assistance campaigns, large-scale construction disaster relief efforts like the Maui fire and the Baltimore Bridge collapse, and ongoing community support programs throughout the construction industry.

Yes, businesses can contribute through direct donations, corporate sponsorships, in-kind donations, and employee giving programs. We also manage donor-advised funds on behalf of organizations engaged in assisting the construction community nationwide.

We partner with the Harm Reduction Center to provide easy access to mental health services, addiction treatment, and suicide prevention resources. We also offer inpatient services through partnerships with the HCA network, ensuring comprehensive mental health care tailored to each individual.

We recognize the unique challenges facing construction workers and provide specialized mental health resources designed specifically for the construction community. Our partnerships ensure accessible, professional mental health care that addresses the specific stressors and challenges within the construction industry.

ABC Cares Foundation leads nationwide construction disaster relief efforts by collecting, managing, and distributing support to affected construction professionals and their families. We coordinate response efforts for major disasters, including hurricanes, fires, and infrastructure collapses.

Construction professionals and their families experiencing hardship can contact us directly. We evaluate each case individually and work to provide appropriate support based on specific needs and circumstances.
